Body movement and dynamic biomechanics

Dynamic biomechanics, works with the entire body. The focus is to work with the person to achieve correction of the presenting condition and not simply to treat the presenting condition itself. In that sense it is about working with the mind, brain and body as they are continually working together in unison . The aim is to achieve an harmonious balance, in the way the body moves.

To achieve this balance, the body must be aligned correctly and the shape of the foot must be such as to give a stable platform over which the body weight moves in a state of constant equilibrium.

Correct upper body alignment is achieved by attaining good posture, deportment, and poise . The key to retaining these states is to work with the mind and brain simultaneously. This revolves around an individual's awareness of their own body.

So dynamic biomechanics is all about helping a person help themselves to get their body back into a state of balance. How quickly that balance is attained depends entirely on how well an individual can work with themselves.
